The website lets you browse dataset descriptions and submit inquiries about data requirements, availability, and licensing. You can also submit your dataset for listing review. Submitting does not publish a listing or transfer any dataset rights. Listings describe datasets and may change.

An inquiry does not create a purchase, reservation, license, or obligation to supply data. Availability, pricing, delivery, permitted uses, and other commercial terms require a separate agreement.

Dataset availability and exclusive licensing

A listed dataset may be unavailable or restricted for your intended use. An exclusive license to another party may prevent us from licensing some or all of it to you. Listings may remain visible while availability or licensing status is being updated.

Contact us to confirm current availability and licensing options. A listing does not guarantee access or reserve a dataset. Any exclusive rights, permitted uses, and access terms must be agreed in a separate written agreement.

Dataset rights and licensing

Viewing a listing or sample does not grant ownership or permission to download, redistribute, train models on, or otherwise use a dataset. Any access or use must follow the applicable license and any separate written agreement. Any restrictions in the dataset documentation also apply.

You are responsible for evaluating whether a dataset is suitable for your purpose, including its provenance, privacy requirements, rights, restrictions, and any necessary permissions. A separate dataset agreement governs the transaction if it conflicts with these website terms.

Acceptable use

Use the website lawfully. Do not attempt unauthorized access, interfere with service, bypass security or rate limits, submit spam, or collect or use information in ways that infringe others’ rights. Automated requests must not disrupt the website.

Provide accurate inquiry details and only submit content you are authorized to share. Do not include malicious code or sensitive personal information. Inquiry information is handled as described in the privacy policy.

Website content and external links

Website text, design, and other content are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may browse and refer to listings for legitimate evaluation; other uses require permission or an applicable legal exception. External websites have their own terms. A link is not a guarantee or endorsement.

Availability and limitations

The website and listings are provided as available, without guarantees of uninterrupted access, completeness, accuracy, or fitness for a particular purpose, to the extent permitted by law. Confirm availability, specifications, and licensing before relying on a listing.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our total aggregate liability to you for all claims arising out of or relating to the website or these terms, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), or otherwise, will not exceed the lesser of (a) the total amount you have spent on the website and (b) US $20. If you have spent nothing on the website, this cap is US $0. This is a single aggregate cap for all claims, not a separate cap for each claim.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the website or reliance on its informational content. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited, or limits mandatory consumer rights.

Changes

We may update the website and these terms. The updated terms will appear on this page with a revised date and apply to subsequent use. Separate signed agreements are not changed by updates to this page.
